Coffin Nails
Long lived Berkshire horror themed Psychobilly
Whilst this site is primarily interested in looking at horror punk bands, there has been a long history of overlap with other genres of music - none more so than psychobilly. Many horror punk bands have a psychobilly influence - and vice versa. On the whole, I tend to only include bands on here that are in the former camp primarily - but there will always be some exceptions (and no doubt more will be added in future). Reading's Coffin Nails is one such exception. Whilst not every song in their long history is solely horror focused (especially their early releases) they have consistently put out some fine music that definitely leans into horror punk territory - amongst them 'The Dead Don't Go Older', one of my personal favourite songs.
